Everyone contributed actively, and we finally came up with a good plan. On Wednesday, I joined the English club after school. We practiced speaking English by having a role-playing activity. It was really helpful for improving my oral English. Thursday was a bit tough as I had to stay up late to finish my Chinese composition. But when I finally completed it, I felt a great sense of achievement. Friday was the best day of the week! After school, I went to the park with my friends. As soon as we entered the museum, we were greeted by a large number of exhibits. The first area we visited was about the history of our city. There were old photos, ancient tools, and documents that showed how our city had developed over the years. I was really amazed to see how different life was in the past. Then we went to the art section. There were beautiful paintings and sculptures from various artists. Some of the paintings were so vivid that they seemed to tell stories. I spent a long time admiring them and trying to understand the meaning behind each piece. The most interesting part for me was the natural history area. There were real dinosaur fossils on display! They were huge and magnificent. I learned a lot about dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures from the descriptions beside the fossils. We also attended a short lecture about the cultural heritage of our region. The speaker was very knowledgeable and made the topic really engaging. Before leaving, we stopped at the museum gift shop. I bought some postcards and small souvenirs to remember this wonderful visit. Visiting the museum broadened my horizons and increased my knowledge.
